Blagdon Orchard Group

A tree in springOrchards, particularly cider orchards, were once a defining feature of Blagdon and the rest of Somerset. Our vision is to see Blagdon once again self-sufficient in orchard fruits and keeping this aspect of our heritage alive and meaningful for future generations.

We aim to build a pool of knowledge and resources to enable advice and practical support to be available to all who wish to grow and use orchard fruit.

Blagdon Orchard Group is an It’s Your Neighbourhood group as part of the wider Britain in Bloom initiative. Membership is free to all Blagdon residents.

Activities are held in gardens and orchards throughout Blagdon.
