The Plume of Feathers is a seventeenth century country pub, restaurant and B&B, offering fine food, local and guest beers and five en-suite guest rooms, and is above all else a traditional English country pub. Serving the local community for over 200 years as a place to relax, enjoy company and exchange news and information.
Our restaurant menu changes daily. We serve a varied menu, ranging from home cut sandwiches to an “a la carte” menu, including traditional local cuts, homemade soups and stews, seafood dishes and light or rich deserts. Our cellar holds a fine selection of European and international wines. We are proud to use local suppliers and local produce wherever possible. All our food is home cooked from fresh ingredients. Even the chips!
Whether you intend to “campaign” one of the many well stocked carp fisheries in the area, enjoy a days fly fishing at one of the Chew fisheries or stalk the 14lb barbel that are regularly pulled from one of the local rivers, the Plume of Feathers is ready to serve you a hot meal and a cold drink at the end of your day. Tell us about the one that got away.
