Well yes and no. Yes it’s a new logo but it’s not replacing the iconic fingerpost that everyone loves.
The old village website has been broken down into a series of sites - Blagdon.org still contains the main information about the village but the Parish Council, Addicott’s Archive and other areas now exist as separate sites. There are also now Twitter, YouTube and Facebook pages all with their own look and different addresses.
We’ve created the new logo which will appear on each site. Where you see it if you click on it you’ll be taken to a list of the sites making up Blagdon.org. So you’ll only ever have to remember one address www.blagdon.org.
When you click on the new logo it will take you to a slideshow view of all the sites that make up Blagdon.org.

Using the arrows on the side of the slideshow you can flick through each of the sites until you find what you’re looking for. If you’d rather view everything as a list click the ‘Page Not Displayed’ link at the bottom of the screen.
When you find the site you want just click on the button shown and just start browsing. You never know you may find something new to explore.
In future even if you don’t use social media like twitter and facebook yourself you can still see our account pages. We’ll be setting up pages explaining which account you’re looking at with a brief description so you know what it’s for.
And like the main site the new logo changes colours with the seasons – somethings we like too much to change.
